The final stretch of the season begins in Jerez

29 October 2015

The Asia Talent Team search for a strong end to the season in the mythical Andalucía circuit of Jerez.

The Jerez circuit is set to host the seventh round of the FIM CEV Repsol with two races for the Moto3™ Junior World Championship.

Kaito Toba, Yuta Date and Adam Norrodin face another opportunity to show their true potential at a circuit they know. Toba has shown flashes of brilliance throughout the season, again hoping to be competitive from the first session. He currently occupies 16th in the Moto3™ Junior World Championship, holding 19 points thanks to some outstanding performances in Albacete where he was ninth and in Aragon where he was tenth and just two seconds from the podium. The Japanese rider has been fast throughout the year and hopes to again be amongst the leading group in Jerez.

Both Adam Norrodin and Yuta Date head to Jerez loaded with optimism. Date showed good form last weekend in Sepang where he took to the podium with third in the first race of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup, lifting him to fifth in the overall standings. Meanwhile, Norrodin was third in the second race at Sepang and it was announced he would make the leap to the Moto3™ World Championship in 2016.

The riders of the Asia Talent Team will have two practices sessions on Friday before the two Qualifying rounds that will shape the grid are held on Saturday,

Sunday will see two races for the Moto3™ class, the first at 11:00 Local Time and the second at 14:00 LT. Both will take place over 16 laps of the Jerez circuit.
