The last round of the season sees the Circuit Ricardo Tormo play host
After some stunning competition in the 2022 Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship, the time has come for the curtain to come down on the season. The Circuit Ricardo Tormo hosts the final showdown, with three of the Junior Talent Team ready to head out on track to fight for the final 50 points of the year. Eddie O’Shea is sidelined after further surgery on his leg, so it’s Tatchakorn Buasri, Danial Shahril and Arbi Aditama lining up.
Buasri is 20 points off the top five and looking to move up from eighth overall, as well as wanting to get back on the rostrum to close out the season – having not been back on the box since his win at the start of the year. He took a top five at Valencia on our first visit in 2022, so has shown good speed at the venue.
Danial Shahril and Arbi Aditama, meanwhile, will be looking to move forward from their first visits to Valencia earlier in the season, with a second round at the same track a good exercise for the rookies to see where they’ve improved. Shahril scored points in both races then but will want to home in on the top ten now, and Aditama did take a point in the first race. The Indonesian’s last few results have seen a real move forward though, and he’ll want another to underline that at the end of the season.
Tune in for Race 1 on Sunday at 11:00 (GMT +1), before Race 2 at 14:00 to round out the season!
