Competition continues for JuniorGP™ at the challenging and technical MotorLand
After getting back in action at Jerez, it’s next stop Aragon for the penultimate round of the 2024 FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship, with the Junior Talent Team ready to take on the single race round. Last season, Arbi Aditama and Danial Shahril took points, and the aim will be to get back into those scoring positions.
Malaysian rider Shahril arrives as the lead JTT rider in the standings this season, having taken some solid results including a top five. On a tougher run of late, he’ll be looking to get back to that form from before summer break and secure a good haul ahead of the season finale.
Aditama, meanwhile, has had a tougher season marred by injury at the start. He’s looking to build some momentum in the final two rounds, having taken some solid points on the Algarve not too long ago. The mission for MotorLand, where he scored last year, will be more of the same.
Rookies Amon Odaki and Jakkreephat Phuettisan share that goal. Odaki has scored some points at three tracks – no mean feat for a rookie – and he’ll be looking to add MotorLand to the list. Phuettisan, meanwhile, is on the hunt for those points as he continues to gain experience. Could Aragon be the track?
We’ll find out this weekend with a single-race round for the JuniorGP™ category, so make sure to tune in when the lights go out at 13:00 for 14 laps of MotorLand Aragon!
