The Indonesian takes top Junior Talent Team honours ahead of Buasri at MotorLand Aragon
Two points scoring rides bookends a solid weekend for the Junior Talent Team in the FIM Finetwork JuniorGP™ World Championship at MotorLand Aragon. Arbi Aditama was on great form all weekend, despite being given a penalty post qualifying and starting from the back of the grid the Indonesian quickly found himself on the fringes of the points before quickly moving forward to eventually score an 11th place finish and his best result in his rookie campaign.
Crossing the line just one spot back was Tatchakorn Buasri. The Thai rider took solid points into the final round at Valencia where he will be keen to repeat his form from earlier in the season in the two races that await at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
Starting from P8 on the grid after an impressive qualifying and having made a great launch into 6th on the opening lap, Danial Shahril looked set for a very strong race ahead. However, the Malaysian’s race would come to a premature end while inside the top 10. Big points were on the offering, but Shahril will carry the confidence into the final event knowing that the speed is there to be amongst the best in JuniorGP™.
Eddie O’Shea missed Sunday’s race after an injury picked up in a training incident, but despite his speed on track the British rider felt it was difficult to put more than five laps together and will focus on recovery to come back strong in Valencia.
The Junior Talent Team will make their way to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia during the last weekend of October for the 2022 JuniorGP™ season finale.
