Valencia awaits the Asia Talent Team

06 July 2017

Next round of the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship heads for the Circuit Ricardo Tormo

The next stop for the Asia Talent Team is the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, after which the 2017 championship will reach its halfway point. The circuit is another of those to feature on the MotoGP™ calendar – making it a perfect stage for young riders on the Road to MotoGP™ to get to know.

Last time out in saw Kazuki Masaki and Yuki Kunii both take top five finishes and show some impressive pace battling at the front – including a pole position for Masaki – which is something they will be hoping to repeat in Valencia. Andi Farid will be hoping to move further forward after Barcelona, when he was coming back from a hand injury that saw him sit out the previous race at Le Mans. Ai Ogura and Somkiat Chantra will unfortunately be sitting the round out as both recover from crashes during Round 3.

Last season, Masaki began his rookie FIM CEV Repsol campaign with P12 in Race 1, and then improved up to seventh later in the day as then-teammate Kaito Toba won the race. The Japanese rider also took another points finish in the final race of the year as the 2016 calendar visited Valencia twice.

There are two 18 laps races on Sunday in Valencia, with Race 1 set for 11:00 (GMT +2) and Race 2 at 14:00.

As always all of the action can be followed LIVE on FIM CEV Repsol YouTube channel.
