Ayumu Sasaki, 2015 Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup winner, joins the Asia Talent Team for the final round of the FIM CEV Repsol At Valencia.
Sasaki will join Kaito Toba, Yuta Date and Adam Norrodin in the Asia Talent Team for the final two races of the season of the Junior Moto3™ World Championship in Valencia.
Sasaki’s presence will hopefully serve as an incentive to the three full time riders in the Asia Talent Team, who are aiming to try and continue the impressive progression they have shown throughout the season.
Yuta Date demonstrated at the last round in Jerez that he is starting to hit top form, crossing the line sixth in race 2 after being involved in the fight for the podium. Kaito Toba was not so lucky as he crashed out of both races, despite having shown a pace in practice and qualifying that meant he would have been able to run with his teammate Date.
Meanwhile, Adam Norrodin will try and bounce back from his performance at Jerez, where crashes during practice stopped him from having the confidence to fight for the points.
The Asia Talent Team will take to the track on Friday for the two forty-minute practice sessions. Then on Saturday there are two forty-minute qualifying sessions to determine the grid positions for the last two races of the season. The two 18-lap races are scheduled for 11:00 and 14:00 local time on Sunday.
