Junior Talent Team ready to make waves at Misano

The biggest stage of the season sees JuniorGP™ race alongside MotoGP™ on the Riviera di Rimini

After a few weekends off it’s time for the Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship to get back in gear, and what a place to do it. Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli welcomes the JuniorGP™ class to the stage alongside MotoGP™ and the JTT is ready for the challenge, with one race on Saturday set to decide the next 25 points.

Tatchakorn Buasri is the lead JTT rider in the standings and, after a tougher mid-season run in JuniorGP™, the Thai rider arrives with a fifth and a sixth in the last two races, looking to continue that form – or more. Already a race winner earlier in the year, the fight for the podium on the biggest stage of the season beckons for Buasri.

Malaysian Danial Sharil, meanwhile, has a good few solid points finishes already in his rookie season, and his best yet was only two races ago. That shows some solid progress and he’ll be looking for more at Misano, as will Indonesian Arbi Aditama as the two rookies look to consolidate their improvements throughout the season.

Sadly, Eddie O’Shea will be on the sidelines this weekend after breaking his wrist in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in Austria. The Brit will be replaced in the JTT ranks, however, as Qatari rider Hamad al-Sahouti steps in. Al-Sahouti is an Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup podium finisher and has growing experience in the Hawkers European Talent Cup accrued in 2021 and 2022. Now, he’ll get a taste of JuniorGP™.

Make sure to tune in for the single race set to take place at Misano on Saturday at 17:15 (GMT +2), with the Junior Talent Team raring to get back on track!
